Ever sense I was little I have always been in love with sports! I started playing sports when I was 9 I played reck basketball with my dad as the coach.His coaching was hard but is what made me love the sport.I played basketball for7 years and in those seven years I have learned that you can be a teammate but you can also be a team leader. When I was 10 my friends and I had a reck basketball team and only 5 team members showed up for the championship game and we started freaking out because no one was able to get fouls.Well in the first quarter of the game I fouled out. My basketball team played with four people and I did not sit on that bench and cry, I cheered for that team louder than all the parents combined. We won that game. I see myself as a team leader and a team player. My favorite part of playing volleyball is that I will forever cherish the moments soon after the big kill of the game and being the girls first high-five and cheering for the girls that I play with and being able to support these girls and then when I get a kill to see the same energy is truly amazing. I love this sport for the people it has brought into my life and for the moments of that big kill or that big serve. I truly love this sport and continue it in college.
