Started sports playing indoor soccer and then switched to Boxing. Went to a Washington Capitals game with my uncle and fell in love with ice hockey. Started playing ice hockey at age 10. My 2nd house season the coach made me captain of the team. At age 11 made it on the 12U travel team. Started on 3rd line but the last tournament we played I was now on the starting line. I played as a left winger as a right hander due to ability to get my body in position to still shoot from that position. At age 13 i was on the lower travel team and we had only one player on the team that had ever played defense. So I was moved to defense and fell in love with the position. It lets me use my strengths on the ice, which is slap shots, one timers, and passing. I where number 19 for Nicholas Backstrom because great he is at passing the puck and overall hockey sense. At the start of this season the I found that the other players were faster then me and my dad signed me up for cross fit. I go 4 times a week in the offseason and due hockey specific training 2 days week until school ends. Then my personal trainer who plays professionally in Switzerland will be back and I will train with him 5 days a week. I have a shooting tarp, fake ice, and marsblade roller blade to train in the summer with.
