I was born in a small town in West Texas called Alpine. We live 15 mins outside of town on 36 acres. I grew up playing football, basketball, baseball, and track. I also enjoy hunting, fishing and camping. I was always an undersized kid growing up. I didn't really hit my grow spurt till the end of sophomore year and now as a senior I'm the tallest kid in the school. I know I am a little thin, but I am an athlete and strong. My dad was very skinny in high school as well, but gained 25 lbs his first year in college, and I am committed to doing the same. Besides playing football, basketball, baseball, and track in high school I also showed animals in FFA and participated in student council. But by far my favorite activity was basketball. Both my parents played several sports growing up, but for the most part they both enjoyed basketball. I believe that's why basketball is my favorite sport as well. My dad and I built a concrete slab in the back of our house with a goal just so I can play basketball whenever I want. The more I played the more I fell in love with the game. So every day after school I would come home and practice,  as well as almost every day of summer break. I haven't quite figured out what I want to do in the future but I know I would love it to involve basketball. I can't wait for my academic and basketball journey to continue!
