About Me
My name is Reece Heffelfinger, I have been playing football
all my life. I started playing in 4th grade and dedicated myself to the sport. I worked very hard and put in extra hours on
running routes and catching. I earned a Varsity starting spot my sophomore year.
I couldn’t have been more excited. It started off as a great season for me and
my team. But I had a setback, I torn my
ACL. I was determined and got stronger
than I was before. I overcame that
challenge and was ready to start the following season. The journey
taught me that with effort and will, you can reach your goals. I put in countless hours of work into this game
because football is like no other sport. I love everything about it. Competing
is one of my favorite things. Now in my senior season, I know I want to continue
playing.
