My name is Reece Heffelfinger, I have been playing football
all my life. I started playing in 4th grade and dedicated myself to the sport.I worked very hard and put in extra hours on
running routes and catching. I earned a Varsity starting spot my sophomore year.
I couldn’t have been more excited. It started off as a great season for me and
my team.But I had a setback, I torn my
ACL. I was determined and got stronger
than I was before.I overcame that
challenge and was ready to start the following season. The journey
taught me that with effort and will, you can reach your goals.I put in countless hours of work into this game
because football is like no other sport. I love everything about it. Competing
is one of my favorite things. Now in my senior season, I know I want to continue
playing.
