My name is James Mweri. I started playing football in eighth grade on the A/B team and realized I was pretty good, especially when doing things others couldn't, like topping three people in one game. In my freshman season, I was just a hard hitter and also caught interceptions. I played all positions, mainly corner and WR, with corner as my primary. By sophomore year, I was playing JV/varsity, and in junior year I became a starter, made plays, and received camp invites, including the Hawaii Tiki Bowl. That summer, I trained hard, improved my stats, and became a leadership voice on my team. I'm a strong, physical corner who can also cover. My grades stay good because I focus on training when not studying. I started playing football mainly because I lacked a father figure and wanted to fill that void. The reason I wanna go play college ball is to help my mom out even more. And be getting 2 team all district in 3-5A CB in tx. I won’t let anything stop me from getting to my goal.
