My name is Emanuel Santos i'm 17 years old and i play for Texans Academy. I've always loved soccer i never got up one morning and said..."i don't feel like playing". I was always eager to do it whether it was just going to practice or playing an actual game. I started playing competitively when i was 8, before then i was playing at church or in my backyard with friends. i owe my ability to play soccer not only to God but my mom. when i was at a very young age my mom would use are dinning table as a goal and she would act like a keeper and i would kick size 2 ball I had. i was first introduced to competitive soccer by a sister from church. My first team was called Lamar Crew. i spent 4 years with them scored a ton of goals with them had the best coaches i could ask for Josh Haney and Lee Palmer not only would they help me in soccer but would give me advice in life and were a huge impact in who I am now. Years past an unfortunately Lamar Crew broke apart. So the next team i had was Huskies Soccer Academy. I had unbelievable memories with this team. For instance, the first tournament we play together was in Plano, Texas, and before this we had only spent like 3-4 weeks together we didn't practice much because it was getting cancelled. So we honestly thought we were gonna lose every game turns out we win the whole tournament and i scored 6 goals in 4 games. i spent 2 seasons with Huskies then the Houston Dynamo Academy scouted me. So a new chapter started in my life Dynamo academy was a different ball game teams were better, players were better, and coaches expected more from you. Being here made me a completely different player. I learned how to move on and off the ball basically how to be a better football player. I played 1 season with Dynamo and scored 14 goals. After that i moved to Texans Academy where ive played 3 games and ive started all 3. My goal for this season is to improve tremendously as a player and go to a college and give it all i have where ever i'm at. Thank you for taking the time in reading this. I hope you find interest in me.
