My name is Gabriel Cisneros Jr., and I have a strong
passion for football. I have played football for as long as I can remember, and during tough times in my life, football has redirected my focus, motivated me to get right up when I fall, and pushed me harder. My goal is to
play football at the Division I or Division II level while earning my college
degree and preparing for life after football.
When I’m not training or playing football, I enjoy spending
time with my friends and family, who have supported me throughout my journey.
Their support, along with God’s presence in my life, has helped shape my work
ethic, discipline, and character on and off the field.
My football journey has been full of growth and success. I
started playing on one of the top youth football teams in Texas and continued
that success through middle school, where my teams were almost undefeated for
two seasons. As a freshman in high school, I was moved up to practice with the
varsity team during their playoff run, which helped push me to improve my
skills and mindset early.
I am coming off a strong senior season playing cornerback,
finishing tied for the most pass breakups in the district (9), with 45+ tackles
and 1 interception. At 6’1”, I use my size to play physical coverage, help stop
the run, and compete for the ball in the air. I take pride in tackling, playing
with confidence, and doing my job on every play. I was also named Second Team
All-District and am excited for the opportunity to play football at the college
level.
I am coachable, motivated, and committed to continuing to
grow as both a football player and a student-athlete.
