My name is Javier Gonzales and I am a sophomore at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas. I have a dad, mom, and two older sisters. I have attended Catholic school since I was three years old. I am involved in my parish community as a volunteer at our annual festivals, I have served as a team member to put on retreats for middle and high school students and I help train altar servers, ushers, and hospitality greeters for our youth mass. On my free time, I like spending time working on my great-grandfathers truck and being around my family and friends. Others say I'm a great dancer, I enjoy listening to different types of music from rap music by Drake to Tejano music by Ramon Ayala. I play baseball (outfield), football (running back), and track (short distance). As a kid I played baseball, soccer, basketball, and ran track, but as I grew older, I found that baseball was my main passion. I started playing football in 7th graded and was a starting quarterback and was moved to running back in 8th grade. I currently play select baseball for South Texas Heat. I know the competition is great to get recruited to play baseball in college but I am committed and ready to work to reaching my goals.
