Hello my name is Eric Velasquez and I live in San Marcos, TX and I'm a Senior at San Marcos High School. 

I live with my parents, my three brothers and our three dogs.  I am very active in school and I maintain a GPA of 3.54.  I give back to my community and volunteer for various events for non-profit organizations and during the holidays.  

I am a proud Varsity member of the San Marcos High School baseball team.  I play outfield due to my speed, but I also can play  infield position as well.  I've played baseball since I was three years old.  I enjoy running and was on the track team before, but since track and baseball run concurrent in high school I am strictly playing baseball.  Since I was little I’ve had the passion and the drive to play baseball.  I'm the player that wants to learn more and work hard to be a better player.  I’ve been fortunate to have great coaches and have taken in everything that I have learned along the way and still want to learn more to be the best for my team and myself. 

My main goal is to attend college to major in Business Administration and to play baseball while in college.  I’m a firm believer that I can do it and I enjoy the game and the competition.  It’s a sport I love and I can learn so much more with a great college coach. I have always put my all into everything that I do and I will continue.  I play year around and have done so since I was in elementary. I am very motivated and dedicated to the game and to my team and teammates and once you meet me you will see that I am a very committed and honest person.
