I started playing Flag Football when I was 6 years old and played for four years before moving on to playing 7on7. I feel blessed to have been able to have my dad as my coach during these early years since he was able to see my weaknesses and help me grow and improve year after year. He taught me that by putting God first in your life everything will work out accordingly. That consistency has been a huge factor in where I am today. I also feel that playing both flag and 7on7 helped build my skill set before I started tackle football. In the years that I have been playing 7on7 I have been able to travel across Texas for tournaments to compete with teams outside our local area. Our 7on7 team is well known within Texas 7on7 leagues having won numerous championships year after year. Once I started tackle football in 6th grade there was no turning back - I found my place. To play football in Texas at a 6A school takes a lot of work and dedication. I had the honor of playing a few Varsity games as a Sophomore and in the Spring and Summer seasons I continue to put in the work by running with my high school track team, continuing to play 7on7, and also working with trainers. Now, in my Junior year, we are building a strong football team where I am starting Wide Receiver. I have found the balance of staying dedicated to the game and my schoolwork, which is equally as important. I am currently in the top 20% of my class of over 800 students, with a 4.35 GPA, and I am taking a few college level courses to continue to push myself. I currently have a plan to finish high school in December of 2023 to continue my education at a college to play football and pursue my bachelors degree in Business.
