I have played soccer my entire life starting at the age of two. I mostly play Center back but I can be a versatile player. I started to play club ball at the age of 10, and have played year-round, including indoor every year since then. I played JV my freshman year, made and trained with the varsity team my sophomore year, but Covid cancelled the season. For the condensed Covid season my junior year I mostly played keeper because the keeper was injured in the first game and was out for the rest of the season. I was awarded Athlete of the Week at Mt Spokane High School for my efforts which included 8 saves in one game. I had not previously played keeper in my soccer career.
I believe my strengths lie in my ability to read the field from the defensive position, my speed and agility, and the patience and judgement I utilize in my defensive play. I have recently been playing some offensive positions including center mid and wing, and feel my speed and field intelligence offer positive contributions to my team as a utility player.
I would be extremely grateful to have the opportunity to use my skills and talents at the collegiate level. I am a good student and would love the opportunity to continue to play the game I love, while earning my college degree.
