About Me

My name is Layne Boies. I live on a farm in Buckley Washington where I have 30 pygmy goats and 4 dogs. My freshman year I transferred out of district to Curtis High School in University Place Washington, which is about an hour from my house. Because I transferred districts, I could not play varsity football my freshman year. Sophomore year started out rough, my mom was diagnosed with cancer a month before school started. But that only motivated me, and I was able to play and start on varsity where I led the SPSL in tackles for loss; I was also named an SPSL Honorable Mention as an outside linebacker. My Junior year I played inside linebacker where I led my team in tackles, was the only player with a defensive touchdown, and was named an SPSL Honorable Mention. Currently in the last 2 months I have gained 18 lbs, and my squat has increased by 110 lbs. I have been playing football since the 2nd grade and it has always been my dream to play it at the college level. 

I also play Lacrosse where I finished 7th in the state for ground balls my freshman year, led the state in ground balls and was named First Team All-Conference my sophomore year. But my junior year was cancelled because of covid-19.
