I am a Junior in high school who has loved the game of baseball since I was in tee-ball at the age of 4.

I want to play baseball in college. My long term goal is to play pro or work with the sport in some capacity after college. 

I work day in and day out to improve every aspect of my game. I have been working out at the gym 5 days a week. I just started working with a personal trainer at PTA to further improve my strength and conditioning. I am working with him 4 to 6 times a week. I do daily drills at home and practice with my team, Prospect Training Academy, at least 2 days a week depending on the time of year. 

I have been told that my baseball IQ is far beyond my years and I have superior leadership skills on the field. These are immeasurable qualities but just as important in playing the game of baseball. 

In addition to baseball and a G.P.A. of 3.97, I also work an average of 10 to 15 hours as a cashier at a local grocery store. 

My past volunteer activities include Soles for Jesus and Baseball Big Brother program. Soles for Jesus is a non-profit program that gives shoes to the homeless. As part of the Baseball Big Brother program, I volunteered my time to instruct baseball skills to the Poundtown Baseball U8- U13 level teams.

In baseball and in life, my drive and determination to succeed is apparent. I don't give up and have been told I am not happy with anything less than perfection.
