About Me
My name is Jason Norsic, and I am a passionate and dedicated soccer coach with over 20 years of experience in developing athletes both on and off the field. I’ve had the privilege of playing soccer at various levels, including profession indoor soccer, and transitioning that love for the game into coaching. Over the years, I’ve worked with players of all ages, focusing on building their technical skills, tactical understanding, and love for the sport.
I am proud to serve as the head coach for Harris-Stowe State University, where I strive to create an environment that fosters growth, discipline, and a sense of family. My goal is to not only prepare players to succeed in the game but also equip them with life skills that extend beyond the field.
Coaching Philosophy
My philosophy centers on four key pillars: Respect, Effort, Attitude, and Development (READ). These values guide every aspect of my coaching and aim to build players who are strong, respectful, and team-oriented while demonstrating a high soccer IQ.
Ultimately, my mission is to create a culture where players feel valued, supported, and motivated to reach their potential while experiencing the joy and camaraderie that soccer brings. Soccer is more than just a game—it’s a platform for building champions on and off the field.
