My name is Aiden Thai Smith, and I’m a senior at Walker High School in Walker, Louisiana. For the past four years, I’ve proudly played football as a Defensive Lineman (Noseguard) at Walker. Honestly, protection is my position! I love football and have been committed to being the first one in and the last one out. I push hard in the weight room and even harder on the field.Academically, I maintain a GPA of 2.8 to 3.0, and during the off-season, I work at Little Caesars in Denham Springs. Outside of school and work, I attend Victory Baptist Church in Walker, LA, where Coach Ward—one of my defensive line coaches—serves as pastor. I also volunteer with my mom at Capital Area United Way and cherish spending time with my friends and family.I aspire to follow in my dad’s footsteps and become a welder, but I also plan to pursue a business degree with a focus on entrepreneurship. My goal is to own my own welding shop and mobile services one day. My perspective on life is unique—I believe everyone has good in them and sometimes all they need is a little push to reach their potential. I've overcome challenges that many said would be impossible, but those are stories for another day. All I know is that I’m determined to keep playing football while furthering my education and building my future.
