Hello there Coaches!! My name is Ashton White and I’m from Lawrenceville,Ga. I have played for the North Georgia Falcons in the 2019 and 2020 seasons. I am a 2020 grad that had some offers coming in January - mid February of 2020. I wanted to commit and I couldn’t, because I couldn’t get into contact with any of the college coaches I had previously spoken to. Coronavirus shut my recruiting process down and left me dry. I went through a very depressive state in the following months. I thought my dreams to go play college ball were out the window. Then about mid summer my head coach and athletic director reached out to me to extend a second chance to play ball... post-grad for my high school team. I figured if I do then it will only make me better, build my film, and keep me in shape. It gave me hope again along with a chance to get my recruiting process restarted with the 2021 class. I was hungry to get back on the field and it truly humbled me. Right around the 4th game in season.... I had an ankle sprain that kept me out for 3 consecutive games. I came back from my injury and balled out! We then went on to have a positive season but took some forfeits early-mid season because of coronavirus. I am a 2 time (consecutive) NHFA Champion with the Falcons . I first started playing ball for the South Gwinnett Comets when I was 7 and we went on to play in the state championship against the Dacula Falcons where we lost by 1 point. I played for the Duluth Wildcats in Duluth,Ga since I was 8 years old. I then went on to play ball at Duluth High School and two years later ended up moving out to Canton where I played for the Falcons. As a sophomore at Duluth I was ranked the 3rd Long Snapper in the STATE. Can you believe that? What an achievement! I love the game of football and it’s all i’ve ever known since a toddler when I used to sleep with a football at night. Having my grandfather teach me the game growing up and eventually being my coach.... really helped me with the ins and outs of all positions. My whole family, all we know is football and this sport is my only way of getting into college and starting a future and career for myself as an individual. I have dedicated my whole life to this sport and I know the game from every position. I’m willing to add to my size because my frame can do so. I would really appreciate the opportunity to go on and fulfill my dream of playing college ball. This is my story and I Thank you for taking your time to read this, hopefully I can be a weapon on your team!!
