About Me

I have always been a competitive kid who loves sports. I started off at the age of three, playing basketball at my local YMCA. I continued with basketball for the next seven years strong, but through those years I went on to try sports like flag football, soccer, baseball, and getting into karate. Then everything changed when I turned ten; I was finally allowed/able to try tackle football for the first time. Throughout my life I have grown to like a lot of sports but football just took center stage in a flash. Sports have always been my out even from a little kid to my current age, they have helped me grow as a person and also helped me to get through a lot of traumas. After hearing that I could play football really brighten my eyes bc then I could physically take my anger out on people LEGALLY.

I started off my football career kinda slow, even though I had a lot of built up anger every time I have took it out on people I would hurt them without trying so I was scared to tackle. Then one day my dad got me out in our front yard and helped to teach me not to hold back on him and so I tackled him because I felt as though I couldn’t hurt my dad. Then he goes on to say that even if you tackle kids like that on the field they won’t get hurt because they have pads on. After that night I started my journey with a head of steam. My first two years I was on JV playing OL, DL, TE, and RB but I learned a lot so going into my third year, I fought hard for my varsity spot and got it. This year I continued to play OL but I also moved to ILB, it ended up working out because we had a great season by winning the championship in 2018. Then two years later we switched to Pop Warner which brought a different level of competition but that didn’t stop us from going undefeated. The issue was that covid-19 just hit the US hard so we were unable to go all the way.

I go on to start high school in 2022, starting football by being a starting LB. We had a decent season going 6-2 but it was a great way for me to display my skill to the varsity coaches. After my football season I went onto run track. I became one of the fastest kids for the 100m which I ran an 11.88 without blocks for my league qualifying time. After reaching that number I was able to run in my first varsity meet and my first steps off the block led to me fracturing my hip and that ended my track season. I then went on to football fresh off an injury trying to play linebacker but I was paranoid because I was coming off my first injury ever. I then got moved to nose guard for more playing time and got reps on varsity my sophomore year also ending the season with scout team player of the year. Finally I get my first full season starting on varsity, still playing at nose guard and being placed on offense in different positions for certain packages. This past season had a very successful end to it with winning our districts game, going 13-2, and being nominated as all state nose guard at 185lbs.
