About Me

I grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, while being born in Guatemala. From the first day I picked up a stick, I knew I was in love with lacrosse and willing to work hard not just in the classroom, but on the field as-well. For college my goals and aspirations are to push myself to play lacrosse at the highest level while also setting myself up for success both academically and financially.  I am a believer in the idea of giving 100% effort into anything in life whether it is in the classroom, on the field, making your bed, or mowing the lawn. I like to be pushed past my limits, which allows me to grow and improve in whatever task I am taking on. I do well on teams as I am very social and understanding towards other people.  I am different from other recruites in the amount of diversity I have faced in my life. I am Guatemalan but adopted into a white family. The High School I go to does not have a lacrosse team so I also play lacrosse at my old High School which I don’t even attend. I go to school downtown while living in the suburbs. I also played soccer and did swim team, while being a summer camp counselor and a barista at Starbucks. All of the previously mentioned details about my life can setup for interesting stories. However I also have recieved awards like the Coach’s Award for lacrosse, multiple honor roll and deans lists in various quarters throughout High School, E teamer of the week (camp counselor of the week), and recognition for being one of the top two performing students in my grade in the classes of IB English, IB History, and IB Spanish. I have also been nominated to be apart of National Honors Society. All of the awards mentioned display that my hardwork and flexibility to learn and adapt to my surroundings and elevate myself to that level are prominent both academically, athletically, as-well as in general throughout my life.
