About Me

My name is Cedric Walls Jr., and I am excited to share my journey and aspirations as a student-athlete.  My passion for football has developed overtime and is a defining aspect of my life, shaping my character and driving me toward my goal of playing at the collegiate level.  Being part of this program has not only honed my skills on the field but also instilled in me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.  Each practice and game has pushed me to become a better player and teammate, and I am proud to contribute to a team that has consistently strived for excellence. For the past two years, I have proudly served as a varsity football starter at James Bowie High School.  During my sophomore year, I was on the varsity select team.  I practiced with varsity but played primarily with junior varsity.   This was largely due to my participation in both football and marching band. For four years, I have had the honor of being a member of the James Bowie OPE/Marching Band, which is currently ranked 17th in the nation.  Competing at this level has been an incredible experience, exposing me to high-pressure situations and allowing me to showcase my abilities against top talent.  I’ve learned to thrive under pressure, adapt to challenges, and maintain a focus on our shared goals as a team. Outside of football, I am actively involved in my church.  I serve on the junior leadership council, sing in the choir and assist with bible study.  I am also a member of the Leadership Development Institute and on the Executive Board for my high schools Black Student Alliance.    These roles have taught me the value of community service, leadership, and effective communication.  I pride myself in being a leader.  I believe that being a leader is about inspiring others, and I strive to embody that in all my endeavors.
