Hello, my name is Christian Gordon and I am currently a senior in high school. I started wrestling in 9th grade and honestly, it changed my life. I have won our county and regional championship every year so far, and qualified for state twice. I just recently surpassed 100 career wins and am now at 115 wins. Last year I won the Most Positive Athlete of Georgia regional award for West Georgia, and I have also made SEWrestle’s Hammer of the Week multiple times each season. Wrestling has taught me confidence, discipline, and commitment. It also helped to shape my future academic and career goals. I have been through a lot of things that have molded me into who I am today, so I now enjoy mentoring younger people through the lessons I have learned. I want to wrestle in college and hope to one day be an Olympian and a coach myself. I am interested in studying education, athletic training, and exercise science, but I am still exploring career ideas. I love fitness, training, coaching, teaching and motivating others. In my career and lifetime, I aspire to be part of the growth of the sport of wrestling. I also hope to change and improve the lives of others. I will always work hard and dedicate myself to learning , growing, bettering myself and those around me. When I set my mind to something, I eat, sleep and breathe it. I am a small guy but I put my whole heart into everything I do! Thank you for your time.
