My ultimate goal is to play the game that I love at the collegiate level. I know that playing baseball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my whole life. I plan to give my all, all the time to reach this goal. I'm a good candidate for any team, because I'm always vocal and I try to make the people around me better. I'm a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I'm a student of the game who practices to improve my craft in baseball. One of my strongest attributes is that I'm a coachable player who strives to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. Academically, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I'm also a member of the National Honors Society, President of my class and graduating in the top 6 percent. I'm really disciplined in the classroom and strive to have high grades, because academics are just as, if not more important than the game itself. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. This is why I love baseball, it pushes me to the limit and challenges me. Baseball is not an easy game it's about timing and focus. I plan to dedicate myself to the classroom and to the field. I hope to become a great role model to all peers, make my family very proud.Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.Chris Mendez
