Played premier club soccer at a high level for years at Grand Rapids Vardar. Then right after transitioning to Michigan Fire Juniors I tore my mcl and pcl in my right knee. I knew it’d be a long recovery but didn’t know what was ahead of me. I continued to work back and eventually after around 7 months was playing again but wasn’t the same. I played for almost a whole year until tearing my acl, mcl and pcl in my left knee. I had surgery just before covid and during my physical therapy I pushed myself harder to be like I was before. I quickly was able to play again in just under 8 months in 2020 Fall. I now have been playing for a good while with little problems and have gotten better than my old self. I’m stronger, more knowledgable and mature about what I have to do to get better and help others to. I didn’t expect to ever get injured since I never really did but both surgeries have been big learning moments in my recent playing time.
