About Me
My name Isabella Nieto, I am a 5'2 utility outfielder from Grand Prairie, Texas. I graduate in the year 2023 and play on the varsity team at South Grand Prairie High school. Softball has been a big part of my life, and it has made me into the person I am today and has taught me perseverance as well as dedication and the value of teamwork. The love for the game came at early age but I feel the love grew stronger as I got older and developed a competitor spirit inside me. I wholeheartedly aspire to compete at the next level and looking for a college that will support me academically as well as on the field. Softball has given me the opportunity to meet some amazing coaches & mentors that continue to push me to do better, without them I would not be where I am today. I plan to pursue my degree in the criminal justice field and hope to follow in my older brother’s footsteps in law enforcement. Financial need will play a large role in what college I will attend & willing to travel further distances depending on the expense. I would also prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career versus a popular school where it may take a couple of years to get on the field. At the end of the day sports has taught me that failure is only a true failure if you do not learn from your mistakes and has made me a better hitter, runner, fielder, and teammate because I have learned & adapted to change. You will not only be recruiting an elite athlete, but you will also be recruiting an elite student that will represent your team and university well in all aspects!
