About Me

Jackson McCarey, a 2024 multi sport athlete who is one of the top OF prospects in IL. He also is considered one of the top 2024s playing football in IL, starting on both sides of the ball at New Trier's varsity football team while also returning KOs.

Jax runs a 4.3 40, a 6.8 60, has OF velo of 84, exit velo of 100 and has a variety of recent accolades that include:

Jackson attends New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL. He plays travel ball with Cangelosi Sparks North Black where he has been a disrupter in the line up, on the field and on the base paths. He hits .400 consistently and makes consistent contact. He is a fearless defender and runner and a team leader and great teammate.

Part of his fearlessness is his intuitive athleticism is seen in his prowess on the football field where he plays RB and DB on the varsity team in the state’s largest classification. Already this year he has two TD runs of more than 80 yards. This is the second year he has played tackle football. He trained in track last spring and reached 23 mph, one of only three athletes on the team to do so. As a 7th grader he anchored his team’s 7th in state placement, overcoming 5 runners in the final straightaway.

Jax is a strong student and takes great advantage of the educational opportunities at New Trier which is regarded as one of the best public schools in the country. He currently has a 3.8 on a 4 scale.
