My name is Jared Plata from Waller,TX and I am writing this because I desire to continue playing baseball. I consider myself a well-rounded player with experience at every position. To tell you a bit about myself; I am 5'10" 165 lbs and I play Short Stop and Catcher for my Summer team the Banditos where I have played several seasons. This past Spring I made the Waller Varsity and played Catcher. I also play football at the Receiver and Safety positions. As a student, I have been an A/B Honor student since elementary. I currently have a 3.87 GPA and I scored a 22 on the ACT and 1160 on the SAT. I plan on retaking both to improve my scores. I'm a member of the National Honor Society and the FFA and I a distinguished student in science and math. My plan for my Senior year is to work hard on improving my grades and to improve my Baseball skills so that I am prepared for College. I am currently playing Varsity football and beginning the Fall Ball season with the Banditos.
