About Me
Hi, I'm JJ - thanks for visiting my page! I’ve been playing sports (specifically football) since before I could tie my own shoes! I grew up in a small town in Southern Indiana, but my family moved to bigger city so I'd have better academic and athletic opportunities. Looking back, I've been able to do some pretty cool things through football - I got to travel the country playing the sport I love with people who looked, talked and thought different than me! As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized how important it is to have a plan, so I’ve started looking at colleges where I can also play football. I’m an aspiring biomedical science major and want to give back to my community by helping others who have been injured. I love my family even more than I love football, so want to take the financial burden off of my family and I by earning a scholarship (or two!) Right now I work two jobs and juggle practices in between, so finding time for visits has been hard for me. However, a challenge is no match for my determination. I was always told to put my nose to the grindstone and don’t stop for anything. Thats the mantra I live by on the field and the same mantra I'll take into the classroom at my future college or university.
