I am planning and preparing myself for an impactful role to be an asset to a successful college basketball program. Academically, my college goal is to continue to build upon my natural strengths in math and science. This allows me to pave the way to achieve a thriving career within the field of engineering. My freshman year allowed me to focus on my strengths and work harder on improving in other areas. Being team captain wasn't something I chose for myself, it has been a responsibility I am still learning how to facilitate in the most effective way. I lead by example, and have noticed the impact my response and/or feedback can have, and how it might determine what happens next. My commitment to being a strong representative for my family, my school, and my team has become my career focus as a student athlete.
