I moved to Maricopa when I was 11. We moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I played four youth tackle seasons in Colorado. And was the biggest and fastest kid on my weighted teams in CO. When we moved to Arizona I was thrusted into the older larger teams and I all of a sudden found myself the smallest.All I had ever asked for was a chance. I played 9 more youth seasons playing nose gaurd and defensive line. I averaged about 12 sacks a season. When I went to highschool I was thrown into the Center position. My Sophomore year I switched back to Defensive line and got  10 sacks on JV. My junior year on varsity I was rarely played. Most of my playing time was on special teams. I had 22 total plays of defense. My senior year we got new coaches and I was given a chance. That was all I needed. I took that chance and went and got myself 17 sacks 70 total tackles (36 solo/28 for a loss/29 assists.)5 forced fumbles and 6 blocked punts. I also led the special teams core and was able to only have 4 plays on kickoff the whole season that the tackle wasn’t mine. I even scored a defensive touchdown.  I had a great year but all it took was a coach who believed in me. My name is Logan Taylor I graduate in the class of 2019. I am 6’6 200 lbs I run a 4.47 40 yard dash. I have the fastest motor you will ever see and I will never give up. I am testimony that sometimes all it takes to be great is a chance.
