Hi, my name is Ojas Srivastava and I am 17 years old. I have been playing basketball since I was 14 years old. I started off playing on the freshman team at John Champe High School and instantly fell in love with basketball as it would help me shape my life and community. Shortly after freshman season, my dad passed and basketball made me feel closest to him and has been something I can look forward to everyday. Going into my senior year, my goal is to play collegiate level basketball and eventually professionally, whether it be overseas or in the NBA. However, if anything were to happen where that dream does not become accomplished I would like to work in the business and data science field where I can become an impactful and effective asset to a company. I am a great teammate that holds everyone accountable by leading by example and uplifting my teammates so we can get the best out of what we have. I have a great work ethic and can adapt and learn quickly. I know how to fix problems whether it be academically, athletically or just in life. I push myself to become the best I can in the classroom and on the court and limit my distractions by staying disciplined.
