Hi Coach  , 
My name is Patrick Terry I am writing to you because I have a desire to play College Basketball next season.                                                                                                                                                       I just completed my Junior year and I had my best season thus far . I am a Point Guard for James Madison High School,Dallas Texas and last year I earned the honor of first team 

All District 11-4a

 as well as my team making it to the regional-finals of the state playoffs. My accomplishments include averaging 14pts. and 4ast. per game, and making it to the state playoffs and playing against some of the best competition in the state of Texas.  Basketball is my favorite sports and I am looking forward to District play more than any other because we have a shot at reaching the State Final Four again. I am excited about that and I am looking forward to leading our team, so we may obtain our goals.                                         Currently, I am training for the up-coming season. I'm lifting weights and conditioning by running a mile and running 16- 100s yards four days a week. I also played summer Basketball for the Texas Blue-Chips a summer AAU program. Academically I have a 2.7 GPA and my SAT's scores are 1060. I believe I can compete in College

  I know I can contribute to the program. I have played in front of large crowds and under pressure situation also. I have received good coaching from my high school and my  club team and I am continuing to improve.                                                                   I look forward to hearing from you.
