About Me
My name is Tyrone Townes, and I’m a senior at Lake View High School in Chicago, Illinois. Over the last few years I’ve worked hard to grow as both a student and an athlete. In the classroom, I’ve maintained a 3.95 gpa consistently having honor roll grades while challenging myself Athletically, I’ve been varsity for 4 years being captain in my last season. Played multiple positions to help my teams success but mainly played running back. This season I made all conference, All city team, and the opportunity to play in the Illinois shrine game. I finished the year with 20 total touchdowns and 1,300 rushing yards. My goal is to continue developing at a higher level of competition while earning a degree in Kinesiology. I’m looking for a college where I can contribute to a competitive program, and be part of a strong team culture where I can continue to play the game I love while continuing my education. A good fit for me is a school that values hard work, accountability, and communication, and where coaches and players support each other on and off the field.
