My name is Omar and I’ve had quite an adventurous life. I was born in Beirut, Lebanon and I stayed in Lebanon until I was in the first grade. After that I spent 1st-8th grade in Dubai. First grade was when I really got attachment to soccer a lot. I mostly played in school and with friends throughout my years in Dubai. In 6th grade I started practicing for a year with a coach from a soccer club called Spanish soccer school. After 8th grade was over I moved to the United States and I had no clue what recruiting was until the beginning of my junior year since it was different from Dubai. During my junior year I joined a club called Lincoln FC (classic league div 3) and it is in Colleyville, Texas because in order to get more exposure in the states it is better to play for a club. After I joined Lincoln we’ve won North Texas Presidents cup and Southern Regional Presidents cup in Alabama. Now I’m still working my way through how soccer recruiting works in the states and trying to contact and get as much exposure as possible since I am going to be a senior this coming year.
