I started with swim lessons at the age of 3.  To begin my competitive swimming I swam on a recreational league (CARA) with the Northglenn Snappers(CO). I swam from the age of 8 until I was 10 years old on the recreational team.  I moved into a competitive club team when I was 10 years old.  I swam for Northglenn Fusion (USA Swimming-CO) from the age of 10 until I 14 years old.  I currently swim on the Foothills Swim Team(USA Swimming-CO).  I pride myself in saying I have qualified each season as a state level swimmer.  In the summer of 2015 I qualified for the Western Zones Championship in Clovis, California.  This summer (2016) I qualified as a Western Zone and Sectional level swimmer. I will compete in the Four Corners Sectional Meet in March 2017 in Lewisville, Texas.  I am also on the swim team at my high school, Lakewood High School.  As a freshman I had the privilege to swim on the Varsity team.    I qualified for state in two individual swims.  I competed in the 200 Free and 500 Free.  I scored the 3rd  highest point total on my high school team as a freshman.  I live in Colorado so all of my training is done at altitude level (5,280 feet). I am a good student with a current grade point average of 3.417.  I am currently taking Honors level classes.  I have received an academic award for my grade point average. I would be a good asset for your swim team.  I have a good rapport with my coaches and with my teammates.  I am a team player and dedicated to the greater good of the team.  I am coach able and take instruction very well.  I take pride in making improvements with each new season.  I work hard and like to be challenged.   I am proficient in all 4 strokes and my strengths are the Free and Butterfly strokes.  I have achieved my greatest accomplishments in mid distance swims although I compete as a sprinter as well.
