I fell in love with the game of soccer when I was eight and my love for the sport has only grown over the years. I have worked hard to get to where I am right now, skill wise, and I know I will never stop working. I’m not afraid of competition, it’s actually what I greatly enjoy, the better the team the more I grow and have fun. I am an outside back in high school and club and I feel at home playing there, locking down the defense as well as helping out with offense. But I am also open to wherever the team needs me. It’s great being part of a team and getting to know my teammates and working with them, creating chemistry and relationships. I feel the same when it comes to my relationships with the coaches, learning to understand and appreciate their various coaching styles. I think what sets me aside from anyone else is my hardworking attitude and focus on the game. Whenever a coach points out a flaw I will practice it until it is a strength, and then move on to the next. I play multiple sports at the varsity level, including football and volleyball, but soccer is my one love. Through academics I work hard knowing it definitely has an effect on my future as well as my recruitment. I take difficult honors courses and AP classes in order to get the best education I can get. I’m excited about the prospect of playing collegiate soccer, as well as experiencing college as an academic student. I cannot wait to see where my path will go and to play soccer under a university coach.
