I am currently a Sophomore at Terrell High School. I started playing basketball my 6th grade year. I was completely clueless about the game and had no skills. With hard work and dedication I begin to excel and was a starter my 7th grade year.
    Along with my 7th grade year middle school season, I had the opportunity to play Junior Varsity as well. I was the starting Point Guard for my school's JV team my 7th and 8th Grade Year. As a Freshmen I started as Varsity Point Guard and helped lead my team to the Final Four. This past season as a Sophomore I helped lead the way to the State Championship, however we fell short and was titled State Runner Ups. Since I have been in high school I've learned that I have a very high IQ of the game and I own the Point Guard position. I'm very determined to get better and give it 110% anytime I train, practice, or play. I have an ambition that is self-driven and an attitude fierce as a tiger. I will be one of the best guards in the nation!
   I am currently ranked 1/99 in my class. I've been an A student since Kindergarten. Of course, I've made honor roll every semester. I take gifted classes and also I am in the National Honor Society. I'm also apart of the youth NAACP branch.
          I know that in order to be a successful athlete you must be a successful student as well. I'm proud to say that I have received the Academic Award in all three sports( Basketball, Cross Country, and Track) my Freshmen and Sophomore year. Along with being a student-athlete I am employed at our local Dawson News..
