About Me

When I was a kid my mom always pushed for me to play football but i refused, me and my mother would even have some football coaches try and pick me up for their own teams while we were at the store, the gas station, and just anywhere i was there was always someone asking how old i was and what grade i was in.I would always tell my mom immediately say no and she would but years down the line, the covid epidemic hit and she had enough of me sitting around not doing anything all day so one day after my 8th grade year was over she had told me “your playing football no if’s, ands, or buts about it” so that moment told me it was either her way or no way, and i didnt agree with that given all the previous years i disliked football with a passion. Soon after i came to a realization that theres no way out of this and summer workouts so i put my all into it because if i had to be on a football field for 3 hours everyday i was going to make those three house count and i did just that. i had an okay freshman season for it being my first time ever playing, i started and did a great job at right guard but sadly that came to a quick end due to injuries in my hand, But that didnt slow me down the slightest. My sophomore i knew i had to come 10 times harder if i wanted to make myself better and i did just that. i practiced everyday like it was my last and i played every game like it was my last and everything workout out but i did end up having another injury in my right hand just like my freshman season but i played through it up until the end of jv and at the end of my jv season i thought that was the end of it but it wasnt i spoke to my coach about my work ethic and everything i did right and wrong and how i could fix it before next summer workouts among other things and one of those many things was why i didnt make varsity and it was a very important conversation to me and at the end of it he gave me until thursday to prove to him i deserve to be on varsity and i took that with all seriousness and i proved to him
