My journey has been nothing short of remarkable, with basketball becoming more than just a sport-it's my passion and driving force. I’ve been playing basketball for three years straight, and in my 9th-grade year, i started on the varsity team, already showing that i was a player to watch. My dedication grew even more as i played AAU basketball with Xtreme Pressure, where my skills were continuously honed. In July, Me and my team celebrated a victory at a tournament in Gainesville, but a few days later, tragedy struck. A devastating accident left me with the loss of two fingers on my right hand, and i spent two weeks in the hospital thinking what was i going to do and how could i do this. I had to relearn how to stand up on my feet and walk and also learn to shoot with my left hand and become more comfortable with it because i knew my story wasn’t going to be over just yet, I didn’t give up. Despite that, My determination never wavered. I returned to the court, eager to prove that basketball wasn't just a game to me-it was a part of who i am, and i was committed to showing the world my unique style of play. My resilience and talent followed me when i transferred to a new high school, where i made the JV team and continued to score like the star i am. Now, as i prepare for my junior year, I’m not just returning to the court because of my past success but to show everyone— players, fans, and college scout’s that i am not just your average player. I’m a different type of player, one who stands out and will leave a lasting impression on the game.
