About Me

Hello and good morning  my name is Ricardo Antonio and I am a senior at West oaks academy High School. I am from Angola and I’ve lived in four different countries and I am fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch. I am excited to pursue a career as a student-athlete in the USA     My high school athletic achievements include running track for Maristas High School in Spain, winning first place in relay. I played basketball for City of Badajoz Academy from 2022 through 2024. During this time, we won the state championship, and qualified for the national tournament against Real Madrid., I am a versatile team player. I am a 6’ 7” small forward/ stretch forward, I average 13 points per game, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 blocks and 0.7 steals last year. My experience so far in America has given me a unique edge in that I am building a brotherhood among my team with other players and students from across the globe. I have had the honor and privilege of  experiencing the utmost cooperation, versatility, and fluidity among my teammates on the court and off, when faced with adversity and challenges.My academic career has consisted of attending schools throughout several countries including a number of schools in Spain, Portugal, Angola, and now the United States. I was student body president at Guadalupe High School in Spain. I currently maintain a 3.88GPA at West oaks academy and am on the Honor Roll, demonstrating my commitment to my academic excellence alongside my athletic pursuits. at Wesley Christian, I was an active member of the student body. I facilitate in lab and dissections for the elementary school, I encourage and assist the elementary students during pep rallies and school events, and I operate the score board and referee the school’s volleyball games.     ]
