About Me

When I was four and five years old, I would ask my dad to do "drills" in the basement when it was raining out.  We would stack pillows and I would practice diving catches, and he would put chairs as lineman and I would pick the hole as the running back, or fill the hole as the LB.  I started playing tackle football at 6 years old, 6U for the Upper Marlboro Mustangs, part of PG County Boys and Girls Club.  I played QB, RB, LB, DE, and Safety through 11U (covid hit).  I have several youth football and soccer highlight videos (6u-8U) on youtube.  My 8U football season was perhaps the most fun as I was starting QB / LB and my father was the OC -- we were in the Metro AYF (toughest youth league perhaps on the east coast) and made the playoffs and I made the all-star team (as a LB).

I then began playing for my middle school where i Played QB, RB and LB during 7th and 8th grades.

Then Freshman year I settled in as an inside LB and was called up to play a few games for Varsity.

Sophomore year I am listed as having played in 7 games, but only actually played (was in for more than a half dozen plays) in 5 games after our DE was injured and they move the MLB to DE - my first start!  I had 35 tackles, 12 solo.  I pulled my groin and missed the last two games of the season (I was playing two games a week - JV and Varsity).  I was on track to lead the team in tackles despite barely playing the first two games of the season.  I am working hard to come back next fall for my junior year and establish myself as a dominant ILB in the area, where other coaches are talking about me.

I hope my highlights show how much I love the sport, love the competition, and pride myself on my technique and skill.  As for college, I want to play for a team that is unified, that feels like a "team" and works hard for the success of the team.  Where the admin, the players, and all coaches are all-in and working to succeed.  And while that is going well I want to get a great education, find my place and purpose in life, and explore new horizons.  Maybe the NFL, maybe something AI / engineering related, maybe law school (my father is a 3rd generation lawyer in the firm founded by my great grandfather - www.brownfirmpllc.com).  My father played at Duke on the 1989 ACC champs team coached by Steve Spurrier.  He reminds me all the time, to make it to the next level and get to play football in college is a dream come true that changes your experience, and there are hundreds of teams out there and they all have scholarships.  I am going to get one and continue pursuing my love of football since I was four years old.
