My name is Joshua Shannon. I'm an 18 year old student athlete from Indianapolis, Indiana. I attend Ben Davis High School where I'm a senior starter on the Varsity Boys basketball team. My goal is to continue to improve both on the court and in the classroom so that I can fulfill my dream to receive a full ride scholarship to play basketball at the collegiate level. I can score at all 3 levels, and I rebound well for a guard. I am always in the gym working to improve my game and refine my skills. I'm willing to do the extra that's needed to be an asset to a team. I have the tools to make any team better.

I'm a good candidate for any team because I'm a hard-worker, dedicated on and off the court, and I'm great teammate. I think what separates me from other athletes is that I am always striving for the best whether it's in the classroom, or on the court. I am tirelessly working to get better and improve upon my weaknesses. I take my education seriously as it's always been something my family and I have placed a high value on. I think that I have a lot to offer a college team, and I'm a high character young man with a strong moral compass. I think most would say I'm a very good ball player but an even better person.
