About Me
My name is McKenzie LaCount. I am in my sophomore year at Franklin County High School in Carnesville, GA. We just finished up our 2015-16 season where we made it to the Elite 8 in Columbus, GA. This year I was one of the 3 rotating Varsity pitchers. I also play 1st base, 3rd base and on occasion I catch behind the plate when needed. I am very versatile and know the game well.
Recently I was able to pitch a complete game victory in the 7AAA Region Championship game. That is a moment I won't soon forget! I was also named to the 7AAA 2nd Team All-Region this year.
I have played softball for the past 10 years on all different levels including Little League, travel ball, and school ball.
My goal is to play on the college level. I believe there is a team for anyone that wants to play on the next level. I am a great team player. I believe a team has to work together as a whole to win games. I am a leader on the field and dugout. I encourage my teammates on and off the field. I have a good GPA and along with my athleticism I am a good candidate to play softball in college.
