Hi, my name is Michael Harris III. My goal as a student-athlete is to earn a degree in the field of sports medicine while competing in football at the collegiate level. It is an expectation as well as a dream of mine to go to a four year university and accomplish my goals previously stated. Therefore I strive daily to not exceed others expectations but my own. God always comes first, he has blessed me with the ability to play football at a high level and meet honor roll standards in the classroom (3.67 and above). I lead my team in prayer every game and try to inspire them each time we step out on the field together. Leading is something that comes natural to me being the oldest of 4 brothers. My brothers watch every move I make so if it is my example that they will follow I make sure it is one worth following. Family is what football is about to me, the person that stands with you before the game has started and is still there at the end, regardless of the outcome is your brother. It is what makes it a team sport, knowing and trusting that the person next to you will do his job. I am blessed with the talent to play football and that shows on tape. My dedication to this sport is not seen on tape. Workouts on the turf or in gym are done to perfect my craft. Off-season and during the season, weekend or weekday the grind does not stop, for me at least.
