I have always been driven by competition, and have been lucky to grow up playing with and against amazing athletes. I have played multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, golf, and football. Baseball has always been the one that drove me to want to get better everyday, and I consider myself a student of the game. I have taken full advantage of the Covid Pandemic to better myself. With school being part-time for the last year, I have been able to work hard in the weight room and the baseball training facility. I have increased my speed, power, and agility, and sharpened my anticipation and processing of movement, to improve my overall performance. I have transitioned from shortstop to playing third and first base for my high school and club teams. I hit in the middle of the line-up, and for the last several seasons, I have lead my teams in most offensive categories. I am also a very good student, working as hard in the classroom as I do in the weight room and on the field. I have maintained a 4.15/4.0 GPA, challenging myself with honors and AP classes. I currently rank in the top 10% academically in my class of almost 650 students. I am so excited for this high school season, after the disappointment of losing our season last year. We are working hard to contend for a state championship in Indiana. I am also really looking forward to my club season this summer with Prairie Gravel, as we travel across the country to compete against the best competition in the nation. I am a versatile, dynamic, and intelligent player looking to contribute to a college baseball program in any way that I can.
