Andrew is a unique basketball player.  He was born into a family of Ballroom Dancers. His Father and mother are both Professional Ballroom Dance instructors. Andrew started dancing at the age of 7 and spent 6 years training in Competition Ballroom Dancing. At age 12 he was ranked 5th in the Nation. As well as dancing he also played basketball, soccer and baseball. At age 13 he decided that basketball was his passion and stopped dancing.  Andrews years of dance training has definitely helped his basketball skills. Andrew truly is a self taught and self motivated basketball player. Most of the boys Andrew plays with in the area are committed to the game of basketball.  Andrew, however, is extremely committed to everything he can do to play the game.  His desire to play at the top level is evidenced in his practice and training efforts.   He wants very much to play at the collegiate level, but for him it is more than just that.  He hungers to compete the game of basketball against anyone.  In 2016 Andrew played with Utah Empire club team in the "Utah Youngblood" basketball tourney.  Although his team didn't win the championship game,  Andrew had the 9th highest scoring record among all 80 of the 7th grade players.Academically Andrew excels in school. His GPA is a 3.8.  As a Freshman, Andrew was selected to play for the Junior Varsity and Sophomore teams at Pleasant Grove High School in Utah. As a Junior he now plays for the Varsity Team at Timpview High School in Provo Ut. Andrew has excelled in Timpview's Baketball program and received many player of the game awards on Max Preps.Andrew is a friend to all and everyone that plays basketball with him loves him. He is very team oriented, yet very competitive and has strong leadership qualities.   His mix of ballroom dance and basketball training has made him a very uniquely talented player.
