About Me

Dedicated to basketball from once discovered playing at the age of three for Joplins
Lil’ Dribblers
. In primary school taking advantage of the YMCA next door was convenient to practice while my mom worked out before and after school. Coming from an athletic family the opportunity to try several different sports was given. Grandpa played college football for MSU, mom had a scholarship and played volleyball and swam for William Woods, and dad went on a track scholarship to Truman State. To me,  choosing basketball was a given. Not given the opportunity from several coaches to start or play me as much as my family would have liked, giving up was never an option. Trying to eat healthy, and practicing everyday for years came naturally. Grateful to the opportunity to play
Academy
club ball and was welcomed increasing my abilities and game time. In middle school after wearing husky pants for a year, I grew taller and more lean. Hearing from everyone the last couple of years that I needed to put on weight and maybe I could have more varsity playing time. This is my year! Being
6’7” and 185 lbs
. now suits my ambition to continue to play college basketball. My stats for high school are not as high as I would like, as  this is my first year
starting varsity,
I do the
beginning jump ball,
and have  playing time. The plays are not set up for me to receive the ball to score so my average points are about 10. My stats for rebounds, assists, and screens are high. With proper coaching and a team that cheers on the success of teammates would be an ideal fit.
