My name is Makenzie Brass. I am a Sophomore (2024) at Minooka Community High School located in Minooka , IL. I stand at 5’8” and I am right handed , small forward , shooting guard and power forward for Minooka High school’s varsity basketball team . I’ve played varsity since my freshman year. I average 10.3 points per game , while averaging 8 rebounds . We have been rebuilding our team since my freshman year and feel like we have the tools to dominate this upcoming season ! For the past 4 years I have played on multiple AAU teams , I’ve played for the Bolingbrook Panthers , No Mercy Basketball and now playing for Mac Irvin . I weight and skill train under all of those programs as well. I am learning to play to my full potential and evolving as a player and a leader . Outside of the court I am dedicated to being a outstanding high honor student . My unweighted GPA is 3.8 . Nursing and law school has caught my attention over the past years and I also want to pursue a career in sports physiology. Academics are as important as athletics to me and I know strong academics is what makes a student athlete like me stand out ! In my free time when i’m not on the court or in the books I enjoy cleaning , meditation, and reading the bible . Meditation helps me a lot as a player because it teaches me to stay calm and be confident . I have also believed having a strong mindset and determination are the keys to success. I strongly believe that with my drive , confidence, persistence, and athleticism I can be a key element for your program . I definitely want to keep communicating with you! My coaches contact information is listed below . I also have linked my most recent Hudl highlight video so you can see me in action . I greatly appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me . I’m looking forward to learning more about your program and hearing back from you !
