I am the middle kiddo of 3! I have 2 sisters and we all play
volleyball. I was inspired to play volleyball after watching my older sister
play her 1st year, and my younger sister followed. My parents are divorced, but
have a great co-parent relationship and are the best support system.
I am a Korean-American California kid born to military
parents, living in Central FL (most of my life).
Over the years I have had many
opportunities to travel and play the sport that I love. Through all the travel
experience I have grown very close to my sisters and come to love road trips
with my family.
We make every mile an incredible adventure! The best trip was
to Detroit for the GJNC tournament where my team took 2nd place!
When I was 11,
I was overlooked at tryouts because I was shorter than the other girls. Before
the end of that season, I was taller than half of the team! That year taught me
a lot about patience and overcoming obstacles.
My coaches all agree that I am a
consistent and dependable player with a great attitude.
I enjoy keeping a
positive attitude on the court even when the game gets tough. If you watch
videos of me you may catch me moonwalking or doing a little dance after scoring
a point! I am highly coachable and ask clarifying questions to make sure I get
things right.
Not only have I excelled in the sport of volleyball, but I
also enjoy discovering new music, spending time with my 2 pet tortoises (Tuga
and Dill), and I have accomplished A-B Honor Roll since elementary school.
In 2021, I was accepted into a magnet academy for Veterinary
Science at my high school. Once completing the program I will be a certified
veterinary technician. I also began JROTC and American Sign Language in 2021.
I am excited about the prospect of continuing to play
volleyball throughout college and hope that you find something here that would
encourage you to learn a little more about me, perhaps I might be a good fit
for your program.
I aspire to be the best that I can be both on and off the
court and would welcome the opportunity to talk with you.
