About Me

Growing up from the start I was an athletic individual. I went into school playing tennis, doing swim and dive, gymnastics, and cheerleading. At the age of 7, my best friend and dad got me into playing basketball. After watching NBA all time and having Steph Curry be my absolute favorite player I decided to try the sport for my own. I started playing at the YMCA where I played there till I was 12 years old. Once I got into playing basketball I knew that it was going to be more than just a sport to me. Basketball is where I found myself and my happiness. I would go home every day whether it was from school or the YMCA, and just constantly shoot around with my dad. I played throughout middle school where I made the highest team and was captain all 3 years. I also ended up being MVP all 3 years as well. Going into my high school career, I decided to try something new and play volleyball. Club volleyball took away from me, and I was not able to play basketball my freshman and sophomore years.  After the end of my sophomore year, I knew volleyball was not going to be my thing and I decided to rejoin basketball my junior year. To this day, I regret changing my sport as I knew basketball as always been my heart and passion. I made the varsity team this year and I may not be a starter, but I am working myself up to be one. Other than athletics, getting into sports is what made me decide on my academic aspiration. As of now, I aspire to major in sports management and continue to watch and be a part of a collegiate team. I believe I am a hardworking, passionate, honest, and loyal person that can show and do great things. I am a coachable player and work hard to reach my goals.
