I have been playing the game of basketball since 11 years old. I have played other sports in the past, but basketball has always and will always be the sport I am most passionate about. I have always wanted to play basketball at the college level, and my desire to do so has not changed.
I am a point guard who has a high basketball IQ, good facilitating skills, is a very aggressive defender, and has a reliable jumpshot. I always try to lead the team by my actions, as well as my attitude. I make it a priority to play with intensity every time I step on the court, whether it be a game or a practice. I hold myself to the standard of leaving everything out on the court at the end of any practice or game.
I have chosen to pursue basketball for my college career. I played Playing multiple sports at a young age helped me develop tremendously as an athlete.
My education also plays a large part in my life. I always try and maintain a high GPA, I have a 3.0 throughout the entirety of my high school career, and I expect to keep that throughout the rest of high school. I also enjoy helping other people learn how to play basketball. Because of the passion, I train kids and people around me who want to get better at basketball, because they have noticed my accomplishments and want to pursue what I love.
My hope is to attend a college at which I can continue to play basketball as well as pursue a career in the classroom. I am open to all options, and to any college. I ultimately want to find the college that is the right fit for me and my family.
