My name is Najeh Ahman Bacon. I was born March 24, 2004 in Long Branch, New Jersey. I am 16 years old. I am currently a sophomore at West St. Mary High School in Baldwin, Louisiana. My football experience began when I started playing flag football at the age of seven. I was always in tune to and interested in what was going on in the NFL both on and off the field, but I didn’t realize how passionate I was about the sport until I had my first experience with tackle football in seventh grade. I am normally a quiet laid back fella, but on the field I’m very vocal and have a take-charge mentality. I am only a sophomore, but I’m usually the one who calms the storm and helps to keep my teammates focused on the game when our opponent tries to distract us or take us out of our game frame of mind. My mom and grandma used to think that playing football would turn me into a monster, but I’ve actually learned discipline from the sport. The thing about football that drives me is the intensity, adrenaline rush, the contact, the physical aspect of it, but most importantly the strategy of the game. I would love to further my engagement in the sport by playing college football and even perhaps entering into the NFL.
